HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A GREAT HUSBAND!
By Bose Adelaja

As Pastor Sunday turns 43, I count it a great joy to be able to congratulate him, celebrate with him and share my thoughts with all who are connected with us, both physically and spiritually.

Pastor Sunday indeed is a great man and as he celebrates his birthday, I wish him a closer walk with Jesus. It can’t be overemphasized that he is a man of God, and the grace of God flows through him to those who accept him as a gift of God.

We’ve been through many seasons in different forms of relationships and Pastor Sunday has always been a great model to me and others over the years. Pastor Sunday, as we pass through the valley of the shadow of death together with our great family of the Embassy of the blessed Kingdom of God, my wish is that we focus on the Author and Finisher of our faith, that we will always remember that faithful is He who has called (and joined) us. I wish that we would focus more on the power of God to deliver us from the enemies of God and other natural obstacles than on the shadow of death.

It’s no secret that God has disallowed some people to continue in this missionary vision and journey with us. God has sent some back home, like he did with Gideon’s army. However, I bless the Lord and thank Him for counting me worthy to be with you, to be on your team, to be a partaker of your dreams and goals, especially at this time. My prayer is that the living Lord God of heaven and earth, the Lord of all flesh, before whom, sooner or later, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess His Lordship, will continue to bind us together with a cord that cannot be broken. May He make our relationship like that of Naomi and Ruth, David and Jonathan, David and his mighty men, Jesus and Lazarus and Elijah and Elisha. May He keep us together until our job is done and moves us to glory.

Pastor Sunday, at this time, when it’s so easy to doubt, to condemn, to criticize, to be distracted, to forget all the good things, and seize a “good” opportunity, I choose to be faithful and loyal to God, to you, and to the church. I choose love over hatred, I choose faith over disbelief, and I choose the future over the past.

I am proud to say I love you, Pastor Sunday. I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Christ and the same way, I’m not ashamed of you, of being your wife, and of being connected to the Embassy of God. The Gospel of God is the power of God unto Salvation, and you are God’s channel of great transformation and reformation in our generation.

May God visit you in a special way these days; may His work in your hand prosper; may He bless you with many strong and worthy spiritual children, so that you would not be ashamed when you face the enemy; and may He silence the accuser of the brethren.

Living with you and knowing you have been some of the best moments of my life. I honor you and thank you for always understanding me, for having a deep love, regard and respect for me. You are indeed a great husband.

Our children- Perez, Zoe & Pearl- love and congratulate you as well.

All the best and Many Happy Returns to a great husband!
