Ukraine`s presidential turnaround
Dear Friends,

Greetings to you from Ukraine!

We are writing this letter to give you an update on what is going on here in Kiev, knowing that our friends outside of Ukraine are concerned about the outcome of the Presidential election here in our country, that the new government might oppress the Evangelical church and make things difficult for them. Now, we want to tell you the real story preceding the election of the president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovich the former pro-Russia communist hard liner.

To start with, you all remember that our church played a prominent role in the orange revolution that denied Yanukovich`s victory in the Presidential election year 2004. As a result of that, our church and most Christians in Ukraine had been political opponents to Yanukovich and his political party. About three months to the Presidential Election 2010, Pastor Sunday was having his personal retreat with the Lord where he got three revelations. The first one was that the favorite of the Presidential election 2010 - Yulia Tymoshenko - would lose! The second is a dream where the Lord showed him the face of Viktor Yanukovich as the next president of Ukraine. In the third revelation the Lord specifically instructed him to go and talk with Yanukovich`s team and to reach an agreement that the rights of the evangelical Christians would be protected as the question of religious freedom under his administration was a major concern for us. Of course Pastor Sunday knew at that point that this was not possible due to the opposition that existed between evangelical Christians and the party before then. However, God supernaturally opened a door for Pastor Sunday together with a large part of the evangelical church of Ukraine and the leadership of this new government. As a result, a suppressive law that had been prepared by Yanukovich`s party against the evangelical church was immediately withdrawn. This was the first victory for the evangelical Christians, even before the elections.

The second victory came when Yanukovich`s party agreed to form an advisory spiritual council to advice the new president on matters of faith and we had the honor of nominating evangelical pastors into this council. This is a complete turnaround in the political development of Ukraine. So, Pastor Sunday definitely believes that the agreement reached between the evangelical churches and the government of Yanukovich will be respected as they have a wonderful relationship and dialog right now.

Concerning King`s Capital and the allegations against us, we would like to explain that no official charge has been issued against Pastor Sunday even though the police department made a lot of noise and propaganda about this. Rather, Pastor Sunday was the one pleading with them to charge him to court because he knew that: the righteous is as bold as a lion. When they refused to do that, Pastor Sunday himself took the police department and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to court. But the court could not come to a conclusion on the matter because of pressure from the government, so they kept on postponing the case. The company itself has been officially declared bankrupt by the Ukrainian court and the founders of the company released, still the police department would not stop the accusations against Pastor Sunday until he took them to court.

We do not have any doubt that this fabricated case against Pastor Sunday is already over and we believe that in a matter of days when we have the new government in place the whole story will be completely over. Pastor Sunday has always said that the truth will come out sooner or later. That is one good thing about the truth: in the beginning its voice sounds very weak and feeble, but mighty in the end. While the voice of deception and lie on the opposite is mighty in the beginning, but weak and feeble in the end. We have tried to tell anybody that cares to listen that at the end of the day Pastor Sunday will be vindicated. That day is just around the corner.

In His victory,

The Administration of the

Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations
